Our Diagnostic Imaging Department finished a complete renovation and expansion in early 2005. As part of the renovation, our technology has gone almost completely digital by integrating PACS (picture archive communicating system) into our workflow. This has allowed us to eliminate traditional x-ray film and create a network for providers both within the hospital and at their offices (if their technology permits), to access and view the images with no delay. Patients even have the capability of having their images burned to a CD to take with them to other providers.
Our Services Include:
Four X-ray rooms which allow us to perform multiple exams including special procedures in Fluoroscopy, IVPs, as well as provide care to outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency patients
Our Breast Imaging Center is also able to provide optimal care in performing routine mammography to special Stereotactic Biopsies in a comforting atmosphere, and is now a "Softer Mammogram Provider."
