Position Title: Clinical Support Coordinator, #08-162

Department:Northwestern Occupational Health
Position Description: Coordinates or performs front office functions including scheduling staff for coverage, daily and month-end billing and related charge master upkeep, deposit, refunds and posting of payments, release of medical records, coordination of Independent Medical Evaluation testimony and depositions; training of and feedback to registration staff at different sites; performs insurance credentialing, performs practice management system forms development, EMR order setup and technical support to staff. The Clinical Support Coordinator will provide coverage at Northwestern Occupational Health and Georgia Convenient Care sites.

Shift Time Schedule:8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Occasional 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.Average Weekly Hours:40 hrs/wk
Days:No on-call duty required. Occasional weekends required
Salary Range:Minimum:$13.29Midpoint:Maximum:$14.62
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

Qualifications:
Education:High school graduate required. Associates Degree preferred.
Experience:Three years medical office and billing experience required. Data entry and physician office practice billing experience preferred, including CPT and ICD-9 coding. Familiarity or work experience with Workers’ Compensation claims filing/process preferred. In-depth knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of Adobe and Adobe Professional preferred. Experience with an electronic medical record preferred. Knowledge of release of medical records required.
Special Skills:Ability to deal with people in a pleasant and tactful manner. Applicant must have excellent communication and computer skills as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks. Must have valid driver’s license and own transportation for driving between sites. Must have excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude. Must perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
