Position Title:
*Environmental Services Technician #08-82

Position Description:
Cleans, disinfects all environmental surfaces within the hospital as indicated adhering to hospital policy and infection control guidelines. Receives, unloads, sorts and distributes linen to hospital departments. Collects linen from patient care areas and transports linen back to the Environmental Services Department for pick up. Collects and transports trash within the hospital using proper disposal technique for contaminated waste/garbage.

Evening and Night Shift; 9:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and other shifts as needed.
Average Weekly Hours:
24 hrs/wk
Days:
No on-call duty required. Weekends required; minimum of every other weekend, additional weekends as needed.

Education:
High school graduate preferred.
