Position Title: RN, ICU #08-120

Department:Intensive Care Unit
Position Description: Provides safe nursing care in a timely manner to patients on the Intensive Care Unit, with support from the preceptor/mentor. Performs within the scope of professional nursing practice as defined by the State Board of Nursing. Demonstrates professional growth. May rotate between other nursing departments within the hospital as a float nurse when census in the ICU is low. Advancement to RN II is expected within two years after date of hire.

Shift Time Schedule:7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. on a rotating basis..Average Weekly Hours:36 hrs/wk
Days:No on-call duty required. Every other weekend required.
Salary Range:Minimum:$21.78Midpoint:Maximum:$26.61
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

Qualifications:
Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont.
Experience:Previous clinical experience in medical and surgical, intensive care, or cardiology nursing preferred.
